We have a very small team of administrative staff who take care of communication with our clients and more than 25 researchers currently working on a part time basis (mostly online) for collection and compilation of information for our partners. A large part of the money, taken from you as our professional fees, is used to meet our recurring expenses to obtain critical information useful for you, salary for the staff and office maintenance. Around 25 % of the total resources generated are used to build a fund that supports in house research on our own agenda towards contributing to the debate on economic development. As a group, we are politically biased against neo-liberal economic ideas but this does not restrict us to provide support to partners who believe otherwise.
